Museums as cultural institutions possess high publicness and exercise low public authority. To organize a highly professional and efficient museum team that can integrate and coordinate diverse resources, the KMFA has been officially assigned a public agency belonging to the "Kaohsiung Cultural Institutes" since July 2017. Through this organization transform, we expect to strengthen the competitive advantages of the museum's professional development while making more efforts in enhancing the museum's publicness and accessibility. It is our hope to more actively respond to society's current needs and expectations of the museum.
