Nautical Nexus是由三個貨櫃結構交織而成的立體十字。貨櫃裝著的是貨物、是旅程、是人的夢想，在這件作品中，三個貨櫃象徵著高雄的過去、現在及未來三者不斷地對話，海洋傳統與科技未來交匯於此之意象。
貨櫃朝向天空的開口也有著高雄朝著未來不斷邁進的意象，港都的天空反射於鏡中反射，是作品與高雄現時對話的方式，反映著高雄的白天、黑夜，或晴或雨的多元風情。
作品的外側是由銀色太空毯包裹，依稀反射著附近的環境；而貨櫃的空間內，多彩的光束以每分鐘12下漸強漸弱地閃爍。象徵著海浪拍打的節奏，也是人體的呼吸頻率。隨著燈光的呼吸，我們彷彿能聽到耳邊傳來浪的起落，隨著鏡面裡無限延伸的視覺效果，如同看到水中的自己。也期望藉打造一個空間地景讓人們能夠反思自我以及海洋的關係以及感受科技與海洋共生的美好願景。

Nautical Nexus is a 3D cross composition of three containers symbolizing the dynamic conversation among the past, presence and future of Kaohsiung. It is the confluence of marine tradition and futuristic technology. Stocks, journeys and dreams are loaded in the containers. The open exit toward the sky stands for the image of constantly evolving Kaohsiung. The interior mirror reflects the changeful sky of the port city, with sun or rain, in day or night; in other words, it is the simultaneous dialogue between the artwork and Kaohsiung.

The surface of the work is wrapped by silver space blanket, vaguely reflecting the surroundings. The interior is set up with colorful flickering light in the frequency of power change every 12 minutes. It symbolizes both tapping rhythm of sea waves and human breath. Breathing with the light, audience is likely to hear rising and falling waves. Reflecting in the space of multi-mirror effect, people's self-images peek out as if from water. It is our attempt to build a place that evokes conscience for human relationship with the sea, in consequence, beauty of prospective coexistence for technology and ocean.
