1987年高雄出生。理型人像與現實肉身的重疊與縫隙，是阮永翰的主要關注。他透過偶、動畫與裝置，回應身體在現實中被切割、形塑、轉化為人的感受性過程。在傷痛記憶、民間信仰、 文學創作與文獻資料中，並在各種技術中尋找空缺在擬人化過程中的投射與變形。本次阮永翰規劃一座「聑蝶生命故事館」。聑蝶是阮永翰自2022年開始構思製作的虛構生物，他以生長於傷口、形狀宛如人耳與人手的聑蝶為隱喻，試圖轉化白色恐怖時期的回憶與「空缺」，建構一個深入了解歷史和政治之間錯縱關係的切入點。
 
Yung-Han Juan was born in 1987 in Kaohsiung. His artistic practice centers on the overlaps and gaps between idealized human imagery and the physical body. Through puppetry, animation, and installations, he responds to how the body is dissected, shaped, and transformed into human sensibility within contemporary reality. He draws from painful memories, folk beliefs, literature, and archival materials, and searches within various technologies for how absence of memory is projected and distorted in the process of anthropomorphization.
For this exhibition, Juan presents The Story Pavilion of Tiedie. The Tiedie is a fictional creature he began developing in 2022. Shaped like a human ear or hand and imagined to grow from wounds, the Tiedie serves as a metaphor for the memories and absences left by Taiwan’s White Terror era. Through this creature, Juan constructs an entry point for delving into the intricate entanglements between history and politics.
