2021高雄國際貨櫃藝術節－范布倫之星
作為高雄港都獨有的貨櫃藝術節，2021年將以「范布倫之星」為主題進行關於光、關於星群，以及關於新生命與希望的展覽策畫。回應今年因疫情而面臨的缺櫃缺料，於是開展出一種「不在場的貨櫃」意象，藉由類貨櫃媒材的使用，保存住貨櫃的靈魂，順道也翻轉了貨櫃過往的剛硬厚重感，創造出一種航向新世界的輕盈。
在2022即將舉辦的台灣燈會中，2021高雄國際貨櫃藝術節可說是點亮台灣燈會的前哨站。於是在「范布倫之星」的展出中，貨櫃將幻化為海上點點繁星，亦如銀河星空跨越光年的航旅，以一種被海水/銀河所包覆的溫柔，連結起人們對於新生活的想像。
2021 Kaohsiung International Container Arts Festival - Van Buren Supernova
Kaohsiung International Container Arts Festival, as a unique festival to this Port Capital. In 2021, the theme of "Van Buren Supernova" will be planned about light, the stars, new life, and hope, in response to the shortage of containers and materials faced by the epidemic. We develop an image of "absence of containers" through the use of alternative material, to keep the soul of the containers, and overturn the stereotype of the past rigidity, creating a kind of lightness towards a new world.
In the upcoming 2022 Taiwan Lantern Festival, the 2021 Kaohsiung International Container Arts Festival can be said to light up the outpost of the Taiwan Lantern Festival. Therefore, in the exhibition of "Van Buren Supernova", the container will be transformed into little stars on the sea, just like the voyage across light-years, with a gentleness enveloped by the ocean/galaxy, connecting people to the new imaginary life.
