Sakurako Nagano (anno lab) works across animation, installation, and painting. Her art comes from a close observation of daily movements, rhythms, and the delicate relationship between people and their environment.

During her residency, she explored the connection between the local history and herself by depicting Kaohsiung’s city landscapes and interacting with local residents. By using collected images, hand-drawn elements, and animated fragments, she creates quiet and reflective works. This exhibition is supported by the Pier-2 Artist-in-Residence (PAIR) program and Fukuoka Asian Art Museum.
