ZODIAC PIG Children’s & Teenagers’ Painting Exhibition in Kaoshiung

For 2019, the Chinese zodiac year of the pig, artist Tsong Pu is invited to create the prototype of Zodiac Pig, composing with two perfectly round spheres symbolizing blessings and fortune to give the best wishes for a happy new year. We encourage outstanding art seed elementary school teachers to guide students in searching for five iconic colors that are representative of their schools’ regions and cultures. The objective is for the children to form an emotional bond and to identify with their hometowns. The exhibition includes over a thousand Little Zodiac Pigs painted by students from Kaohsiung, Tainan, Chiayi, Nantou, Yunlin, and Pintung, showcasing each school’s diverse color observations and prolific creative energy.
