For Kids

Have you ever thought that some everyday things you do—like eating, picking things up, playing games, or even dreaming—might be the hidden treasures in your life?

Artists observe the world around them every day. They discover things with their eyes, think with their heads, feel with their hearts, and create with their hands. They collect colors, shapes, and images from everyday life, and sometimes even pick up things others no longer want to turn them into something new. Through painting, paper cutting, or sewing, they express their inner thoughts, and show the feelings they share with their family and friends. Using various materials, artists transform what they experience, feel, or imagine in daily life into interesting and unique works of art.

Looking through the eyes of artists is like opening a treasure map of everyday life—one that’s waiting for you to explore!

Come on, let’s step into the artists’ life maps, open up your imagination, and discover the hidden treasures in your own everyday life!

For Parents

Everyday life consists of the things we do, think, and feel every day. It might be a certain period of time, a particular lifestyle, or even a state of life. These seemingly ordinary experiences shape our day-to-day lives and often become sources of inspiration for artists.

Artists continuously layer and expand their observations and perceptions of everyday life, connecting personal experiences of growth or emotional memories with the people, events, times, places, and objects around them to create intriguing artworks. When everyday objects break away from their original functions, and ordinary observation and imagination become part of an artist’s thinking process, creative practice turns into a journey of treasure hunting, exploration, and experimentation.

Beginning with everyday discoveries and reflections, this exhibition delves into how artists draw inspiration from daily life. Featuring artists’ observations, collections, collages, depictions, and installations of ordinary things, as well as their use of various materials, the exhibition presents different sub-themes and interactive experiences that guide children to explore sensory perceptions, emotional expressions, and artistic practices from the everyday. In doing so, they may discover the hidden treasures in their own lives.
