About this Exhibition
Based on the diversity of contemporary art and the spirit of interdisciplinary integration, the
Kaohsiung Award
provides artists with an art-making platform characterized with pluralism and openness. A total of 511 works were submitted for the

, including works by 23 foreign artists. Continuing the selection mechanism of categorizing works in the preliminary selection but de-categorizing works in the final review, this year we invited Chen Yong-xian, Xue Bao-xia, Gong Zhuo-jun, Wang Pin-hua, and Seng Yu-jin as final jurors. Seng Yu-jin is the Senior Curator at the National Gallery Singapore, who was especially invited to provide a more international perspective for the final review.
