Wild plants are the vegetation species that have survived both natural evolution and artificial domestication. They are often characterized with unique adaptability, rich diversity, and robust potential of productivity. The “Wild Fun” in the exhibition title represents the natural and simple fun in the process of growth and interactions among different things that grow from the land and environment while the “Way” suggests that this process is in progress “on the way”. This exhibition is intended to reflect and manifest that “artistic creation comes from life.” The participating artists in this exhibition are those who determined to stay away from the mainstream. Unmindful of reality concerns and mainstream narratives, they have chosen and remained committed to their own way of artistic creation by converting what they see or do in daily life in the city or in the countryside. The “Journey of Wild Fun” exhibition is an introduction and observation of the current development of these artists and their potential energy of artistic creation.
