我們試圖了解的是一間美術館在「南島文化」之海一路航行的取與捨、得與失，或是一間史前文化博物館，如何從層層累積的人類學研究中，考掘出培育當代藝術的沃土。這些不同型態的文化機構，又該是如何透過多元的視野，與隨著社會脈動變遷的原住民文化聲息相聞，並重新省思自己的新任務？
Panel Two：The New Challenge and Commitment of Cultural Institutions.
In Panel 2, what we attempt to understand is what Austronesian culture's maritime journey has taken and given up, and what it has lost and gained. Or as a museum of prehistoric culture and history, how can we excavate and build up the fertile soil of contemporary art from cumulative layers of anthropological research. How can these cultural organizations with different forms rely on different perspectives to keep in touch with indigenous culture that is evolving with social trends and reflect on their own new missions?
