In March 1947, the 228 Incident unfolded in Kaohsiung, shaping the city and its later generations. Drawing on literature and art, this exhibition looks back on a March long written about yet never fully articulated. Through painting, sculpture, literature, and contemporary works, it is conceived as a space of return—where the embers of the past allow understanding, writing, and freedom to unfold.
